My Food, My Power
Food security begins with healthy seeds, healthy soils, and communities that have the knowledge and freedom to produce their own food. My Food, My Power strengthens indigenous seed systems, promotes agroecological farming, and supports community-led food sovereignty by protecting local knowledge and agricultural biodiversity.

Every seed carries a legacy worth protecting.
Across Africa, many indigenous crops and seed varieties are disappearing as farming systems become increasingly dependent on commercial inputs and uniform crop production. This weakens biodiversity, reduces farmers' resilience, and limits communities' ability to adapt to climate change.
Our Approach on the Ground

Community Seed Banks
